Terms of service

These terms govern the ai.ml API, console and websites. By creating an organisation you accept them on behalf of that organisation.

1. The service

ai.ml is an LLM gateway: it forwards your requests to third-party model providers you select through the catalog and your routing policy, meters usage, and bills it against prepaid credits. We do not train models and we do not train on your data. Providers’ own usage policies apply to the content you send through them; the catalog links each provider’s terms.

2. Accounts and keys

You are responsible for the API keys issued to your organisation, for the budgets and allow-lists you configure, and for the people you invite. Keys can be rotated and revoked at any time in the console; revoke a key immediately if you suspect it leaked.

3. Credits, prices and invoices

Credits are prepaid in INR or USD and denominated in USD at the rate booked at purchase. Each request settles at the price of the endpoint that served it, as published on the model page at the time the request started, including our markup shown there. Payment fees are passed through at cost. A tax or export invoice is issued for every top-up; issued invoices are immutable and corrected only by credit note and reissue. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months; unused credits are refundable to the original payment method per the refund policy, minus payment fees.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, to violate a provider’s usage policy, to probe or overload the platform, or to resell access without a reseller agreement. We may pause keys flagged by abuse detection and will tell you why; suspension of an organisation for non-payment or abuse leaves the console readable for billing and support.

5. Availability

We publish uptime and latency per endpoint and route around failing hosts, but the service is provided as-is: providers change, degrade and deprecate models. Service-level commitments are available in the enterprise tier.

6. Data

Your data policy (logging, retention, zero-data-retention, no-train, regions, redaction) controls what we store. Our privacy policy and data processing agreement describe processing in detail.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the credits you purchased in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss caused by a provider’s output.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice by email and in the console. You may close your organisation at any time from the console; closure revokes keys and, after the retention period, erases stored payloads.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, have exclusive jurisdiction.
